Home Sellers Should Add Outdoor Appeal
It is usually an appealing prospect to home buyers to think of being able to expand their inside boundaries. Now that spring has sprung in Central New York, if you’re selling a home and have a porch, deck or patio, make sure you include it when showing your home. You might even consider purchasing a new table and chairs, new cushions, a hammock or umbrella to make an outdoor area more appealing.

Change Clocks, Change Batteries
When the time changes, people are encouraged to change the batteries in their smoke detectors.
“Changing your smoke detector’s batteries at the Spring and Fall equinox ensures that your batteries get changed at least two times per year,” Central New York Firemen’s Association President David Spencer said.
Many people procrastinate about replacing their batteries because it is something that doesn’t have to be done at a particular time.
To realize the implications of not having fresh batteries in their detectors, Spencer suggested people ask themselves the following question: “Is the cost of a 9-volt battery too much to save your life, or the lives of your family?”
